This column is easy to install, easy to move from car to car and is worry free during competition.
Features:
- Uses an industrial 1” hiem joint to mount to your cage. The single hiem joint allows the column to pivot as your car bends/shifts or sways.
- Full 1” shaft construction top to bottom
- Lower half consists of hex shafting for smooth sliding that will not bind on dirt or grease and a female tube with 3” long hex coupling CNC machined to fit inside to eliminate any catch points
- Heavy duty universal joint for maximum strength and articulation
- 8” of collapsible slide
- Steering box protector to take pressure off of your input shaft to minimize gear box breakage
- Hex end for all standard quick release hubs
- 40” Fully extended Length
Due to the unique design of full size Cadillacs with their gear box behind the cradle our standard tube mount steering column is not a feasible option. If you drive Cadillacs you still need a column you can depend on as your car bends. One that’s been track tested and proven to get you to the end. One that’s going to move freely, properly collapse, not bind on itself or anything around it. We took the proven components of the tube mount column and put together something that does that and more for the Cadillacs.
