The same lower components used in our highly successful tube mount steering columns.
Lower half consists of hex shafting for smooth sliding that will not bind on dirt or grease and a female tube with 3” long hex coupling CNC machined to fit inside to eliminate any catch points.
- Heavy duty universal joints for maximum strength and articulation
- 10 ½” of collapsible slide GM and 79-02 Ford
- 6½” of collapsible slide 03+ Ford
- Steering box protector to take pressure off of your input shaft to minimize gear box breakage
- Upper universal joint is configured to accept a 1″ shaft
If you are building your own demolition derby steering column our lower half is the perfect setup to give you all the collapsibility and durability you need. Our lower half will move freely, properly collapse, not bind on itself or anything around it.
