Our reamer is American made from M2 high speed steel. It is a 1½” taper per foot that works for all of the common tie rod ends and ball joints used for demolition derby.
USE
Our reamer will enlarge many tapers over its life if you run it at speeds from 100 to 400 RPM with an oil based cutting fluid.
Our reamer can be used by hand with a tap wrench or socket or with a drill press or vertical mill with a ½” or larger chuck/collet.
Keep in mind, this reamer is not a drill. Run this reamer at half the speed (RPM) and twice the feed that you would a drill.
If your reamer becomes dull contact us for resharpening services.
