If you run Fords/Crown Vics in a limited weld type build , where you can have a braced rear end but need it to survive under the car with stock trailing arms the braced 8.8 is a great budget friendly package for you.
The 8.8 with an 8.8” c-clip housing from a 79-96 full size Ford. The housing is outfitted with new ½” thick DOM axle tubes and billet deep bore housing ends to house the 35 spline hobby stock axle shafts. The rear end is assembled with billet main caps, a new spool, bearings and gear ratio of your choice. Fabrication is rounded out with HD lower trailing arm mounts, retrofit axle savers, fully welded back brace, threaded coil spring perches and a pinion brake.
There are several upgrades that you can add to this package:

- Top Brace
- Billet housing end/axle saver combo
- 10 lug stud axles
Rear-end comes to you filled with fluid, broken-in and ready for punishment.

All rear-ends come standard with the following:
- All new high quality Timken/Koyo bearings and seals
- Full spool
- New ring and pinion with ratio of your choice
- Moser Hobby Stock Axle Shafts loaded with Bronze axle shaft bushings and heavy retainers
- Brian Nerat pinion brake yoke
From there, the rear-end is assembled to your specifications. After final assembly, all rear-ends undergo a full break in procedure so that they are ready for punishment.
All rear-ends can be upgraded or downgraded depending on your specific needs.
All rear-ends are built to order. A deposit is required to get a spot in line for your build. All prices shown include a core charge. Core charge can be refunded if a good usable core is provided.
