The kit include everything you need in order to complete the install. Installation of the laser cut and CNC machined bracket requires welding to your axle tubes.
This kit is intended to be used on 8.5” GM 10 bolts. There are two options when purchasing.
Option 1 uses your factory round CV style driveshaft yoke found in 71-76 GM full size cars and an included yoke spacer.
Option 2 includes a new round CV style yoke
- Laser cut and CNC machined bracket
- CNC machined round yoke spacer or yoke with proper register to contain the brake rotor and driveshaft
- Yoke and yoke spacer bolt pattern accepts all common slider type driveshafts and the 71-76 GM constant velocity round yoke driveshaft
- Braided brake hose with inverted flare adapter fitting
- Caliper, pads, rotor, and all necessary hardware included so you are not chasing parts to complete the installation
In the heat of the on-track battle being able to stop quickly is just as important as being able to move and steer. Relying on drum brakes out at the wheels that are constantly getting pounded on is a recipe for failure. Using only front brakes and not rear brakes is hard on your driveline and again sets you up for eventual part failure. Our 10 bolt pinion brakes mount to the center of your rear end off of the axle tubes to stay out of harm’s way. Our 10 bolt pinion brake will always be there when you need to stop.
